Can you be healthy and not happy? What about happy and not healthy? Episode 3 dives deep into the areas of health, wellness, and fitness to find our happy.

Episode Challenge!

  1. Sit down somewhere quiet where you are able to take a moment to be incredibly honest with yourself.
  2. Write down all of the reasons you CANNOT workout or implement some sort of movement plan. Then write down all of the reasons that you CANNOT start eating healthier.
  3. Take a look at what you wrote down. Did you have any reasons? If so, I want you to then step out of yourself and reply to them as if you were somebody else.

Example:

Reason- I can’t eat healthier because it’s too expensive.

Reply: Have you researched any healthier options and know the price difference compared to what you eat now? Did you ask anyone to shop with you, or asked someone for advice? Have you checked out all of your local deals and shopped accordingly? Or checked out your local store to see what they offer in terms of affordable healthy options?

3a. There is a “reason” and reply

4. Did you find that upon examining, you actually DON’T have any reasons? Then perhaps this is an opportunity to use this as a wakeup call or call to action.

5. Have you found that you do in fact have some legitimate reasons for not being able to do something? (Medical or otherwise)

6. Now you’ve got a list (even if there’s only one thing on that list) with some things to think about, plans/decisions to make, help or advice to seek, etc..

  • Be honest in your answers, and objective and open in the replies to yourself. Also, please be kind to yourself. Remember, it’s a journey. Allow room for growth.
